DRAGOS

In this project, we have proposed solutions for the co-existence of traffic and pedestrians.The Northern part of the Suburb-Marmara-Minibus road and the Southern part of the Marina are connected by one axis where a central pedestrian street is located. In the middle of the pedestrian axis, we placed a coffee shop, and joined the Marina with a medium-sized shopping centre, in what we call, a ‘City Square’. Here, the resulting space is not only a place open to all of Istanbul, but, with a high-rise hotel at its one end, it aims to serve as a beacon of a new era in the Maltepe coast.
